Deepa Kumar
Founder
An education evangelist, Mrs. Deepa Kumar has been influential in changing the lives of several students, parents and organizations. Her contribution in the teaching and administrative domain spans over three decades and is illustrated with substantial tenets and extensive landmarks. Mrs. Kumar is a graduate from Miranda House (Delhi University) in Geography Hons., she also holds a M.A. degree in English and Psychology; a postgraduate diploma in educational leadership. She is also CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) certified from Cambridge University and has been trained in Effective Coaching and Mentoring by the SQA (Scottish Qualifications Authority).
Mrs. Kumar governs proficiency in marketing and sales primarily in brand image development for schools and educational institutions; clientele-corporate relationship management; conceptualizing and conducting seminars; workshops and conferences. Her guidance and mastery in the education sector has led to the ground-breaking and development of magnum opus progressive educational institutions in places like Beawar in Rajasthan , Adimali in Kerala and Bharatiya Academy, Roorkee, Uttaranchal. She has led a number of prestigious schools as their director, which includes Maxfort School, Dwarka, Pitampura, Adriel High School in Rohini New Delhi, The Maurya School for Girls, Gurgaon and The Maurya School in Palam Vihar, Gurgaon. She has also led the Heritage Xperiential Learning School as its Principal and Associate Director.

Usha Sood
Co-founder
Mrs. Usha Sood is a committed educationist with 3 decades of teaching and administrative experience in prestigious institutions like Montfort School Ashok Vihar, The Heritage School Rohini, Queen Mary’s School, Adriel High School Rohini, St Martins Senior Secondary School Delhi Cantt., to name a few, functioning in various roles; as a teacher, teacher-in- charge and as Head of School. A firm believer in “Child is the father of man”, she upholds that we remain learners throughout our lives irrespective of the paper degrees. She champions the cause of children being seen as individuals, as ‘little people’ who have a mind of their own, who must be respected and understood for their experiences, perceptions and opinions. Mrs. Sood has graduated with Honours in Political Science from Delhi University and has post graduated in History. She is trained and certified in the Leadership Programme from i-Discover I, run by XLRI alumni.
A maestro in designing integrated curriculum and its implementation, mentoring teachers in lesson planning, classroom management, implementation of varied methodologies, rubric making and feedback, she encourages the teachers as well as the students to challenge their abilities and compete with themselves to achieve their best!
A part of implementation of the English Spoken Skills Project conducted at Delhi Government Schools for class XI students by DOE and the British Council, she garnered a lot of appreciation from the principals of the schools she was connected with. She also trains students for IELTS, conducts English Language Modules for honing Listening, Reading, Writing, Grammatical and Spoken Skills of students. She worked as an interlocutor of OET (English spoken skills testing) for Cambridge Boxhill, Australia. She is a freelance author and editor who has authored, abridged English classics and edited many books for children for various publishing houses like Book matrix, B. Jain Publishing House Children’s book section (Pegasus) and some foreign publications.
She has been working as a teacher- trainer for the past fifteen years and has conducted various workshops in different schools and colleges for teachers, and children to improve and upgrade the skills and competencies of the former and for better self-recognition and performance of the latter. To name some, ECPDT- Effective Communication and Personality Development Theatre Workshop along with the faculty of National School of Drama at DDU College, Delhi University, students’ wellness workshop with the renowned Psychologist Dr Sameer Parikh at the Heritage School Rohini. She has successfully conducted better parenting workshops with parents at different schools like Alpine Convent School, Gurugram.
